The Proofreader is familiar with AMA style guidelines and is able to follow those guidelines to ensure consistent, accurate, and superior work quality. The Proofreader edits each job thoroughly so that each tactic can pass the rigorous scrutiny of our clients' medical- and legal-regulatory committees. The Proofreader should develop knowledge of each client's processes/procedures for submission and edit tactics according to its stage in the submission process. The Proofreader provides suggestions for the departmental Style Guide.



The Proofreader has strong communication and interpersonal skills. The Proofreader prioritizes work appropriately and escalates concerns relating to quality and timing to a senior member on the Editorial team.
