The Project/Field Engineer contributes to the overall success of CR Meyer and its heavy industrial customers by performing engineering/design responsibilities for various construction projects. Assists the entire construction project team across all disciplines utilized, providing technical assistance needed to complete various aspects of construction projects.
Provides engineering and design services, producing sketches and drawings as required to provide conceptual design to clients, provide design details and provide fabrication and installation details.Provides input into the ‘means and methods’ engineering requirements needed for the project (i.e. special picking beams, floor loading considerations etc.).Assists customers in determining the most practical and cost-effective option for their projects.Performs engineering calculations, based on engineering education, experience, and certifications.
