Key Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Accountable for a project or portfolio of projects (regional/sectoral).
  • Responsible for all planning activities in line with the Planning SOP.
  • Reporting to the Planning Department.
  • Reporting to the Business Unit / Project Management team.
  • Developing and maintaining programmes for pre-construction, construction, and commissioning phases.
  • Creating and managing progress tracking databases.
  • Producing progress reports.
  • Preparing milestone forecasts and carrying out delay and float path analysis.
  • Managing Earned Value Management systems.
  • Tracking schedule performance and productivity levels.
  • Conducting site progress audits.
  • Participating in planning meetings and coordinating with clients and subcontractors.
  • Preparing tender programmes.
  • Producing resource histograms.
  • Chairing planning meetings.
