Key Responsibilities
- Surveying and setting out levels of site to enable accurate production of the building designs
- Conducting preliminary inspections, surveys and studies of a proposed construction site Maintaining documentation related to construction projects, including permits, material
- specification sheets, and budgetary documents Managing the day-to-day activities of contractors and subcontractors working on the site
- Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to ensure the best contracts
- Writing detailed project bids and proposals showing cost and time estimates of the project
- Devising technical solutions to issues that are causing delays and monitor the implementation of these solutions into the overall workflow
- Overseeing quality control and health and safety matters on siteCandidate ProfileSpecifically, the candidate should have: Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification
