Job Description
- Define and agree the project scope with the client; develop the Work Breakdown Structure; control scope changes and recover costs in line with approved time, cost, and contractual requirements; ensure all parties sign off a clear Statement of Work.
- Build a detailed, logic-linked schedule (Microsoft Project/Primavera) with milestones; protect the critical path; track planned versus actual progress using earned-value methods; implement recovery plans and prepare/submit extension-of-time claims where required.
- Supervise and approve the establishment of a baseline budget from the bill of quantities, labour, plant, and contingency; monitor forecast versus actual costs weekly; track and correct cost variances; approve change orders only after full impact assessment; align cash-flow with certificate submissions.
