Job Description

Ninyo & Moore, a SOCOTEC Company is seeking a Project or Senior Project Geotechnical Engineer to join our new Austin, Texas office. The successful candidate will manage geotechnical, forensic, and construction projects, working closely with clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage geotechnical, forensic, and construction projects
  • Interact directly with clients and manage project budgets
  • Coordinate and participate in field activities, including:Logging borings, test pits, trenches, and coresEvaluating geologic and seismic hazardsPerforming forensic evaluations of distressed structures and failed slopes
  • Perform engineering analyses, including:Foundation design and evaluationSlope stability analysisSettlement analysis
  • Prepare geotechnical engineering proposals and technical reports
  • Provide technical support and mentorship to staff engineers, geologists, and field technicians
