Join our Sales & Estimating Team at FDS, a UK leader in the design, installation, and maintenance of smoke ventilation systems. We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Estimator to contribute to our growing portfolio of projects. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your expertise to provide accurate cost estimates, analyse project requirements, and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure project success.
Salary: £45,000 - Plus Personal Performance Based Commission
Responsibilities
- Analyse tender enquiry drawings, fire strategy and specifications to determine scope of work.
- Quantify materials and labour needed for projects based upon the tender information.
- Preparing and submitting quotations.
- Updating quotations throughout the tender process as information or addendums are issued.
- Identifying project risks; technically and commercially.
