Project Engineer/Task Lead (USCG/Navy)

THOR Solutions is actively seeking a highly motivated Lead Engineer to support marine engineering efforts for the U.S.

Coast Guard, U.S.

Navy, and commercial shipbuilding efforts in Arlington, VA .

An ideal candidate will have prior experience leading teams working with Government or commercial shipbuilding programs, standards, and regulations.

Typical Responsibilities:

• Lead a multi-disciplined team of engineers and designers in creating ship installation drawings, 3d models, calculations, and engineering change artifacts.


• Design, analyze, and integrate systems for ships and boats, including C5ISR, Combat Systems, propulsion, piping, HVAC, and machinery arrangements.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
