Reporting to the Sr. Engineering Manager, the Project Engineer leads the development of the scope of work, the detailed engineering specifications, and the engineering plans in order to meet all project deliverables of VIA Rail internal or external projects. This person is accountable for establishing design review schedules, ensuring specification requirements are met, and for assessing the impact of changes and actions required. She/he will also act as a liaison between the engineering team and the project management team and will be the main point of contact with suppliers or sub-contractors.
