Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Technology Degree or National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the medium- to heavy-engineering industry within a jobbing environment.
  • Previous experience in project engineering/management in a manufacturing environment.
  • Sound technical background of all aspects of the contracting process and technical manufacturing requirements.
  • Knowledge of commercial, contractual, and financial matters (Budget and Schedule Control).
  • Knowledge of manufacturing requirements for different materials, such as mild steel vs stainless steel.
