Job Description

Minimum Qualifications
  • BEng, BSc or BTech in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Diploma in Design and Operations of Belt Conveyors or Belt Conveying of Bulk Solids.
  • Bulk Transfer Chute Design and Modelling Certification.
  • Professional registration with ECSA as a Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng .
Experience & Competencies
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in Bulk Materials Handling engineering within the mining, industrial or energy sectors.
  • Proven experience on EPC, EPCM and Lump Sum Turnkey projects.
  • Experience in feasibility studies, FEED, detailed engineering and project execution.
  • Strong experience in the design of:
    • Belt conveyor systems
    • Transfer chutes
    • Crushers, screens and feeders
    • Bins, hoppers, stockyards, stackers and reclaimers
