Job summary
This Deputy Director role (Project Director for the risk and audit tooling project) will lead the implementation of the new risk and audit tool across HMRC.
In addition to experience of leading change successfully, the role requires a candidate with strong risk management and internal audit experience to enable them to help shape the implementation to deliver a practical tool that adds value and enables HMRC to benefit from future innovation in this area.
The role holder will be responsible for leading all aspects of the project bringing together the risk and internal audit workstreams within one project.
The role holder will report directly to the Chief Risk Officer and Group Financial Controller who is based in Chief Financial Officer Group within HMRC and liaise closely with the Director of Internal Audit.
