Through the Barroso Lithium Project, Savannah will help position Portugal as a strategic supplier of locally sourced lithium raw materials, ensuring a sustainable, long-term supply for the rapidly growing European battery value chain.

Construction is scheduled to begin in early 2027, with production expected to commence in 2028. Once operational, the Barroso Lithium Project will produce enough lithium to supply approximately half a million electric vehicle batteries each year.

Savannah is committed to developing and operating the Barroso Lithium Project responsibly, striving to minimise its environmental impact while maximising socio-economic benefits.
