Project Cost Controller

Key Responsibilities
Support cost control activities for rail infrastructure projects, including Track, OCS, and Civil works.
Maintain accurate and reliable cost data in company cost systems (e.g. Compass, ), ensuring correct cost allocation and reconciliation.
Assist the project team in setting up, monitoring, and updating project budgets, forecasts, and estimates to complete.
Manage cost control systems throughout the project lifecycle, including budget allocation and updates.
Perform monthly cost control tasks such as cost capture, accruals, commitments, forecasting, and period close.
Prepare monthly cost reports, including budget vs. actual analysis, forecasts, variations, risks, and opportunities.
Analyse cost variances and key cost drivers related to productivity, design changes, interfaces, and subcontractor performance.
Provide early warnings on potential cost impacts and budget overruns to project management.
