- Plan, direct and coordinate scheduling and production activities of the organization based on sales demand to achieve quality products completely and on time.
- Ensuring that materials, labor and equipment are used efficiently to meet production targets
- Manage the performance of the team to meet or exceed targets: productivity levels, quality standards, and utilization/efficiency objectives
- Lead all subordinates in establishing a work plan and staffing for each phase of the project or program.
- Confer with heads and staff to provide technical advice and to resolve problems; provide the necessary leadership and management support to enhance the efforts of project staff.
- Review reports prepared by line leaders and modify schedules, or shifts/increase resources, in order to reach target completion dates.
