About CIR

The Centre for Information Resilience (CIR) is a UK-based non-profit organisation. We use open-source investigations to counter disinformation, expose human rights abuses and war crimes, and combat online harms targeting women and minorities.

Whilst CIR's working language is English, our staff are based across Europe, the UK and dozens of other countries, reflecting the diversity of our workforce and our commitment to international collaboration.

About Sudan Witness

In response to the outbreak of armed conflict within Sudan in April 2023, CIR started to actively monitor, document and verify human rights interferences and conflict dynamics on the ground.

In addition to providing verified and trustworthy information, the Sudan Witness project preserves open-source digital information relating to the conflict and its impact on civilians.
