Project Coordinator

Overview

The Mäntsälä education services are seeking a project coordinator for a fixed-term position from September12026 to July to implement the ‘Liikkeestä virkeyttä koulupäivään’ project.

Responsibilities

• Develop and promote a sports culture in schools.
• Create activity‑based curricula that encourage student movement.
• Support staff in increasing student physical activity.
• Plan, conduct, and facilitate training sessions and workshops.
• Monitor and report on project activities and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Relevant higher education degree.
• Experience in promoting children’s and youth’s physical activity and well‑being.
• Strong interaction and facilitation skills.
• Ability to work independently and flexibly.
• Experience with ‘Liikkuva koulu’, project work, and activity‑based teaching is advantageous.
