About the role

• Supporting students during their induction and transition into College life, working closely with curriculum staff to help learners identify their career aspirations, planned destinations, and any barriers to learning. Play a key role in the College’s 42‑day focus process to improve student retention and engagement.
• Providing targeted support during the early stages of the academic year for students who enrol late or display signs of disengagement, helping them remain motivated and successfully continue on their study programme.
• Monitoring and reviewing student attendance, punctuality, behaviour, and attitudes to learning, taking timely and appropriate action where necessary in line with College attendance and disciplinary procedures, with support from programme leaders and teaching staff.
