Programmer & Automation Engineer

Job Description:

• Design and develop new control systems for WTP, STP, SpTP, and conveyance systems
• Create automation systems that control machinery, equipment skids, packaged equipment systems, and IT systems
• Analyze current equipment; identifies areas of inefficiency and needs for improvement; design and develop instrumentation to meet those needs
• Create basic schematics and simulated models to test designs; modify designs to meet specifications and budget requirements
• Test, evaluate, modify and calibrate products and instruments
• Draft and present formal technical documents, report, and testing results to the manager for approval
• Drafts technical manuals for instrumentation
• Collaborate with other engineers to develop accurate, efficient equipment and instrumentation in accordance with safety and usability standards and client expectations
