Position Overview

Room to Read's Girls' Education and Gender Equality Program (GEGEP) supports adolescent girls from economically disadvantaged and vulnerable communities to complete secondary school and develop essential life skills to make informed life decisions. Operating across eight states in India—Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Telangana—GEGEP empowers girls to navigate challenges with confidence and resilience.

Under its Life Skills Education Framework, GEGEP equips girls to advocate for themselves, think critically, empathize, and engage with their communities.
