Role Overview
The Program Director of Carbon Trading Desk is a senior leadership position responsible for building and running the firm's carbon trading capability within the marine fuels sector. The role carries fullend-to-end accountability from deal origination through to compliance surrender, across EU Emissions Trading System (EU ETS) allowances, FuelEU Maritime compliance solutions, voluntary carbon markets (VCM), and IMO regulatory advisory.
Key Responsibilities
- Own full deal flow from origination through execution, settlement and compliance surrender oversee trade booking, confirmations, registry transfers and counterparty reconciliation
- Full accountability for desk P&L: daily mark-to-market, month-end attribution, year-end review, and annual desk budget covering headcount, systems and market data costs
