Northeast Regional Victim Services is a non‑profit organization which works in cooperation with the R.C.M.P. to provide assistance to victims of crime and traumatic events. The position may require an instantaneous change from a stable calm environment to a highly charged or stressful atmosphere as a result of a crisis occurring within the area of service.

Responsibilities

Effective delivery of information, support, advocacy, and links to other resources. The Coordinator is responsible for supervision of the day to day work of the assistant coordinators, administrative assistant and the volunteers. The three main detachments are Tisdale, Melfort, and Nipawin; however the program covers the entire Northeast Region, and the position requires extensive travel within the region.
