Qualifications
:
Degree or Diploma in Outdoor Education, Physical Education, Special Education, Therapeutic Recreation, Child and Youth Worker, or a related field. Equivalent experience will be considered in the absence of post-secondary education. At least 6 months experience at the KOC. At least 2 months experience developing or facilitating Virtual programming. Current Standard First Aid/Wilderness First Aid and CPR C are required. Previous leadership experience an asset. Experience working in an office environment, including answering phones and communication via email. Experience with Microsoft Office Strong organizational, interpersonal, time-management and communication skills. Experience working in a child care setting (such as: residential care, camp, school system) with special needs children ages 8 to 18 years old.
