Responsibilities

Reporting to the Academic Chair, and under the direct supervision of the Environmental Engineering Technology - Water Resources program faculty, you will provide laboratory, shop, field and administrative support for the departmental program portfolio. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Administrative

  • Maintain and track equipment inventory
  • Conduct weekly and monthly laboratory audits for safety and regulatory compliance
  • Procurement and purchasing of equipment, supplies, and laboratory consumables
  • Submit facilities work requests to address lab deficiencies
  • Laboratory

  • Operation and maintenance of the deionized water system supplying 5 laboratories
  • Calibration of analytical balances, spectrometers, as well as a variety of meters and probes
