Summary You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the OFFICE OF THE DEPUTY SECRETARY OF THE NAVY (POLICY). Responsibilities You will provide advice, counsel and executive assistance to the Director for Policy and Strategy on a variety of matters to include planning, programming, policy, and national security. You will develop processes, plans, and recommendations in support of the Director's priorities. You will coordinate with action officers from other departments and agencies of the U.S. Government involved in the safeguarding of U.S. interests in the maritime environment. You will address cross-cutting global posture issues, coordinate on posture-related international agreements, and ensure DON interests are considered in higher-level guidance and OSW input to U.S. International Security Policy.
