Production Technician, Sault Ste. Marie

When you join our team as a Production Technician, reporting to the team leader, you will perform various production-related tasks.

What You’ll Do

• Stack and classify pieces of wood and operate different workstations from a control console on a rotational basis depending on production needs and the workstation.
• Verify the quality of wood in transit and ensure compliance with Interfor’s quality standards.
• Clean your workstation.
• Train less experienced staff as needed.
• Perform any other related duties as requested by your immediate supervisor.

What You Offer

• Completed secondary school diploma (SSD).
• Have at least one (1) year of experience as a day labourer.
• Forklift certification is an asset.
• Must be willing to take training on the different workstations.
