Production Technician

A Day in Your Life at MKS: As a Production Technician in MKS, you are responsible for the set‑up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies. This role reports to the Production Manager.

Responsibilities

• Determine and may develop test specifications, methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings and diagrams.
• Test and troubleshoot assemblies and/or final systems.
• Complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing.
• Perform soldering and possibly mechanical aptitude tasks.
• Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems.
• Assist in the selection and set‑up of specialized test equipment.

Required Skills

• Associate degree, military technical training or comparable vocational training.
