Job Description

  • Manage and promote all aspects of Health and Safety associated with the production process, in line with company standard and current Health and Safety legislation.
  • In conjunction with the Operations Director discuss and agree targets and formulate production plans.
  • Ensure the production plan, product/process specifications and product quality are maintained at all times.
  • Manage, and report regularly to the Operations Director, the operational effectiveness of the department.
  • Provide input, for inclusion in the local Investment plan, to the Operations Director on possible plant improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with company Quality system.
  • Ensure compliance with company Environmental system.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and risk assessments for all tasks carried out within area of responsibility.
