Job Description

The role is the processing of meat and other products as per the production

schedule and to legally required food safety standards.

  • Safe and hygienic operation of plant equipment and machinery.
  • Maintain hygiene standards of processing areas and ensuring consistent cleanliness of

facility.

  • Understand and follow all aspects of the company’s HACCP Program.
  • Understand and fulfil health and safety responsibilities within the property.
  • Other ad-hoc duties as requested.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Qualifications:

  • 1. Physical capability: Comfort and experience with tasks such as unpacking meat boxes, standing for extended periods, cutting or hanging meat, and general cleaning.

    2. Comfort with raw meat: We primarily handle beef, but there are occasional requirements to work with pork products.
