Job description Balancing leadership and strategic planning responsibilities, a Production Planner oversees the team to ensure production targets are met. The Planner's role is a diverse one, involving a range of duties including planning, assigning work, co-ordinating meetings, addressing complaints, implementing policies and resolving problems. Always looking at ways to improve productivity, the Planner recommends improvements on production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions. .
