Production Operator – Coil Winding
Job Summary:
A Coil Winding Production Operator is responsible for winding copper or aluminum wire around transformer cores according to design specifications. This role ensures the accuracy, quality, and efficiency of the winding process to meet production standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate winding machines to wind coils for transformers.
Interpret technical drawings and work instructions to ensure correct wire gauge, turns, and tension.
Monitor and adjust winding tension to prevent defects and ensure quality.
Perform inspections to detect wire damage, improper layering, or insulation issues.
Ensure proper insulation placement between layers as per design requirements.
Maintain production records and report any issues or non-conformities.
Follow safety procedures to prevent injuries and maintain a clean workspace.
