Production Operator

We are currently on the lookout for production operators to work out of our Visy Smithfield site on rotation! The roster includes 2 days, 2 nights, 4 days off on 12 hour shifts. 

The Role:

Reporting to the Shift Foreman, you will be involved in the monitoring and running of machines that turn recycled materials into paper ensuring efficiency and quality.

What You Will Do:

• Operate and monitor the paper machine and equipment to meet safety, quality and production targets
• Carry out regular maintenance and ensure machinery runs at peak performance
• Maintain high standards of safety, housekeeping and environmental compliance
• Identify improvement opportunities and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
