Job Description

Our client isa leader in metal products manufacturing.

As a production manager, you will oversee the production process, coordinating all production activities and operations. You will need to:

  • Planning and drawing up a production schedule.
  • Deciding on and ordering the resources that are required and ensuring stock levels remain adequate.
  • Selecting equipment and taking responsibility for its maintenance.
  • Setting the quality standards.
  • Ensuring that the product will be cost-effective by estimating costs and negotiating and agreeing on budgets with both clients and managers.
  • Monitoring the production processes and adjusting schedules as needed.
  • Monitoring productivity rates and product standards and implementing quality control programs.
  • Organizing the repair of any damaged equipment.
  • Liaising with different departments, teams, and companies, e.g. suppliers, managers, clients
