Production Manager

Reporting to the Senior Manufacturing Manager, this person will oversee production employees across two shifts, scheduling, labour utilization, safety, quality, output, downtime and the timely completion of work orders. 

The ideal candidate has at least five years of manufacturing leadership experience in a low-to-medium-volume, high-mix, make-to-order or engineer-to-order environment. Electrical, electronics and transformer experience are assets but are not required.

The strongest candidates will be comfortable handling considerable daily variety, including employee issues, material shortages, maintenance priorities, production challenges and capital projects, while working closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Human Resources and Health and Safety.
