Production Management Engineer - Malaysia- Vehicle

Key Responsibilities

1. Production Line Start-up & Output Control
   • a. Execute daily/per-shift line start-up preparations (material verification, tooling checks, equipment startup, first-article inspection), monitor on-time start-up, track achievement rates, and address anomalies;
   • b. Set shift output targets, follow production takt time, ensure throughput and timeliness, analyze capacity gaps, and drive closed-loop improvements;
   • c. Review daily production reports and data logs, ensure accuracy, and generate standardized reports for capacity review and planning adjustments.
2. Rework Management
   • a. Oversee classification, labeling, and record-keeping of non-conforming products (process, assembly, appearance, functional defects); assign rework tasks based on defect type and operator skill levels;
