Join a proactive team as a Production Geologist, specializing in grade control and underground sampling. Enjoy a 14 days on/14 days off schedule while playing a key role in enhancing mining efficiency.
Reporting to the Senior Production Geologist, you will be responsible for optimizing grade control and performing geological modeling. Your role includes interpreting geological data and managing delineation drilling programs, ensuring effective collaboration with both engineering and mining departments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide grade control for efficient underground mining
• Conduct mapping and sampling of underground headings
• Work with engineering to enhance operational efficiency
• Manage and log geological data effectively
• Log diamond drill core when necessary
Requirements:
• 4-year B.Sc. in Geology or equivalent
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in mining preferred
• Familiarity with Deswik and Acquire software
