Product Development Engineer

Job Overview TE Connectivity's R&D/Product Development Engineering Team conceives original interconnect ideas and solutions for the challenges encountered in the harsh environments found in aerospace and defense applications. A well-balanced role, exposed to a wide range of fields providing deep insight on design, manufacturing, and testing of mechanical and electronic components and systems, the team is responsible for new product development and qualification from market definition through production release; assist in the qualification of suppliers to ensure suppliers deliver quality parts, materials, and services for new or improved manufacturing processes; conduct feasibility and manufacturability studies, testing on new, modified and optimized designs; direct and support detailed design, testing, prototype fabrication and manufacturing ramp.
