DESCRIPTION:

The nature of the work is focused on research and development of products from conception to retail to meet the needs of accounts and consumers. Collaborates with Marketing/Design to interpret design concept into - dimensional patterns. Consults with product triad to clarify concepts and lend pattern-making and fit technical expertise. Creates first models from concept pictures. Incorporates styling and fit changes determined by design/marketing/development during fit sessions or design process. Inspects and critiques samples. Creates and/or revises product specifications with construction details for production. Ensures specifications detail construction methods that optimizes profitability.
