Product Component Engineer (Onsite)

Serves as the technical resource to the Design, Manufacturing, Program Management, Supply Chain, and Quality communities for electrical and mechanical component, materials and related process support. Directs Failure and Root Cause analysis and provides technical assistance with material verification resolution, specification or drawing exceptions, supplier issues, and manufacturing related issues for assigned technologies. Identifies, evaluates, and recommends new components for new product development requirements and for improving existing manufacturing process yields. Uses independent judgment to make decisions in day-to-day job responsibilities the majority of the time under general supervision.
