Procurement Manager

role – Permanent position

We are currently recruiting for a procurement manager on behalf of our manufacturing based client. Applicants will need to be responsible for sourcing, controlling and managing the buying process for the business

Main duties will include –
• Monitor and manage the day-to-day activities of the departments under their control.
• Identify areas for improvement to continually drive performance and business results.
• Control purchase orders for all materials and assembly parts; authorise, sign and approve in accordance with agreed sign-off limits.
• Develop and manage relationships with key suppliers, including site visits; identify potential suppliers and complete supplier appraisal reports.
• Analyse procurement statistics and prepare reports to help the Operations Director and Executive Board understand the commercial purchasing marketplace.
