Job Description

For one of our leading industrial clients, we're looking for an experienced Procurement Manager - Category Manager Packaging - Steel, aluminium, wooden pallets.

Scope: drive sourcing strategy across Europe, with a strong focus on cost optimization, sustainability, supplier performance, and innovation.

Key focus:

  • Developing and deploying the European Packaging category strategy
  • Driving TCO optimization and value creation across sub-categories (Flexibles, FIBCs, Corrugated - Steel, aluminium, wooden pallets)
  • Leading supplier selection, negotiations, and performance management
  • Partnering closely with internal stakeholders and packaging buyers
  • Managing risk, supply continuity, and sustainability initiatives

Profile: 5+ years exp

Category scope: ~€10m spend - ~25 suppliers

Location: Barcelona, Spain

Working mode: Hybrid (60% office attendance)
