Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on price, quality, service, and reliability.
  • Process purchase requisitions and convert them into purchase orders (POs).
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.
  • Monitor and track orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve supply chain issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other essential procurement data.
  • Conduct regular vendor evaluations and maintain strong supplier relationships.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., production, quality, accounts) to determine procurement needs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in developing procurement strategies to reduce cost and improve efficiency.
  • Analyze market trends to identify potential supply risks or opportunities.
