JOB SUMMARY: The Procurement Associate is responsible for supporting the procurement function of the organization. Their primary role involves assisting in the acquisition of goods and services needed by the company. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of procurement regulations and best practices.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Identify potential suppliers and vendors.
Create and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies.
Monitor and track orders to ensure on-time delivery.
Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable agreements.
Work closely with internal departments to understand their procurement needs.
Ensure adherence to procurement policies, procedures, and regulations.
Generate reports on procurement activities, costs, and savings.
