Job Description
The Procurement Assistant supports the procurement team by assisting in sourcing suppliers, processing purchase orders, and ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services in accordance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in sourcing and coordinating with suppliers and vendors.
- Prepare and process purchase orders and procurement documents.
- Monitor delivery schedules and follow up on outstanding orders.
- Assist in evaluating supplier quotations and price comparisons.
- Maintain procurement records, files, and databases.
- Coordinate with warehouse, finance, and requesting departments.
- Assist in inventory monitoring and procurement planning.
- Support vendor accreditation and documentation.
- Perform other procurement-related tasks as assigned.
