Job Description

The Procurement Assistant supports the procurement team by assisting in sourcing suppliers, processing purchase orders, and ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services in accordance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in sourcing and coordinating with suppliers and vendors.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders and procurement documents.
  • Monitor delivery schedules and follow up on outstanding orders.
  • Assist in evaluating supplier quotations and price comparisons.
  • Maintain procurement records, files, and databases.
  • Coordinate with warehouse, finance, and requesting departments.
  • Assist in inventory monitoring and procurement planning.
  • Support vendor accreditation and documentation.
  • Perform other procurement-related tasks as assigned.
