procurement assistant

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for sourcing selecting and negotiation with suppliers to strive for best price and delivery time

• Respond to customer & supplier inquiries

• Checking inquiries and tenders from clients and update superior on daily basis

• Responsible for preparing and processing Purchase Orders (PO), Invoices and other related documents

• Request and compile supplier quotations and submit to Proposal Engineer

• Follow up with suppliers on delivery status, lead times, and documentation

• Coordinate with warehouse/store for Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) and delivery verification

• Maintain accurate procurement records, filing, and traceability documents

• Update procurement trackers (Work Order Weekly, PO status, delivery schedules, supplier database)

• Liaise with internal teams (Engineer, Operations, Finance)
