Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for keeping a record of vendors and previous prices
  • Responsible for taking quotation from reputed vendors for material and negotiating for best rates
  • Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery timelines and negotiating contracts
  • Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records
  • Maintaining good relations with suppliers and negotiating contracts
  • Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers
  • Preparation of budgets and cost analyses and reports for both prospective projects for Sales Team and ongoing / awarded projects for Projects Team
  • Preparation of SOPs for despatch of material from vendors till delivery to customer
  • Maintenance and handling of warranty related documents and filing of all procurement information
