The Procurement Analyst is responsible for procuring IT products and services in the best interest of the state. This role supports agency-wide procurement activities, including vendor evaluation, contract analysis, and supplier selection for IT-related goods and services.

The position works independently under general supervision and supports procurement projects requiring research, analysis, negotiation support, and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Procure IT products and services including software, SaaS, hardware, cloud infrastructure, telecommunications, and managed services
  • Evaluate vendors and contracts through RFQs, RFPs, and RFIs
  • Conduct market research and analyze vendor responses
  • Recommend supplier selections based on data and compliance
