Process Safety Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Under supervision or independently, carry out design safety philosophies, specifications for fire protection systems (active and passive), and data sheets for firefighting systems.
• Develop UFDs and P&IDs for the fire protection systems and carry out fire water/foam demand calculations (including gas suppression systems) and firewater system hydraulic check analysis.
• Prepare hazardous area classification source release schedules/reports and their drawings, fire zone drawings, safety and firefighting, life-saving equipment layouts, escape route drawings, safety signs drawings, firefighting nozzle coverage shadow drawings, etc.
• Support in reviewing/consolidating comments and coordinating third party studies, including FERA, dispersion analysis, EERA, ESSA, dropped objects study, TRIA, ship collision study, QRA studies, etc. (not limited to).
