Process Safety Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled
Senior Process Safety Engineer
to join our client's team, supporting large-scale
FEED and detailed design studies
for upstream oil & gas, refinery, and offshore EPCIC projects. You will play a critical role in ensuring robust safety systems across
fire hazard analysis, HAZOP/HAZID reviews, SIL/LOPA studies
, and regulatory compliance within Malaysia and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver
  Process Safety Engineering
  input across the project lifecycle (FEED, detailed design, EPC).
• Develop and validate safety philosophies, fire protection systems, hazardous area classifications, and safety studies.
• Conduct and facilitate
  HAZOP, HAZID, SIL/LOPA, QRA, and FERA
  workshops with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Prepare and review
  Safety Case documents, design deliverables
  , and client submissions per PETRONAS/MPM guidelines.
