Summary

/Objective:The Optimization Engineer evaluates existing processes and configures manufacturing systems to improve scalability and throughput, while reducing costs related to inefficiency and waste. The Optimization Engineer also develops and supports implementation of best practices throughout the organization.

Essential Functions/ Responsibilities:

1.Work closely with Operations, Quality and Engineering to develop and implement solutions to process-related problems.

2.Lead proactive discovery efforts focused on identifying hidden inefficiencies or wastes.

3.Lead or support cross-functional teams that are hyper-focused on solving a critical problem, identifying short-term and long-term corrective actions.

4.Analyze production capacity and scalability through Value Stream Mapping and other modeling techniques.

5.Review process control procedures and Key Performance Indicators to drive improvements upstream and reduce waste and inefficiency....
